Our Acrylic Manufacturing Process

Our acrylic manufacturing process combines advanced CNC technology, skilled craftsmanship, and strict quality control to produce high-quality custom acrylic products. From material cutting and laser processing to polishing, bending, and final assembly, every step is carefully managed to ensure precision, durability, and a flawless finish for global clients.

Acrylic Material Cutting

To cut acrylic tubes and other custom shapes, we use specialized cutting machines that ensure clean, accurate cuts across various sizes and angles. Whether it’s straight cuts, angled edges, or curved forms, this process allows us to handle round, square, or irregular acrylic parts with precision and efficiency — ready for polishing or further fabrication.

CNC Laser Cutting for Acrylic

CNC laser cutting is a precise and efficient method used to cut and shape custom acrylic sheets. Using a high-powered laser beam, the machine follows computer-guided paths to produce clean, smooth edges without the need for additional finishing. This process is perfect for creating detailed designs, logos, and custom shapes — ideal for displays, signage, and retail fixtures. It ensures high accuracy, repeatability, and a professional finish every time.

CNC Routing for Acrylic

CNC routing is a powerful cutting process ideal for thick acrylic sheets — especially those over 20mm. Unlike laser cutting, which offers fine detail, CNC uses rotating bits to cut through heavy material with strength and stability. It’s perfect for larger, less intricate shapes where durability matters more than precision. Think of it as the strong, reliable worker in the acrylic workshop.

Diamond Polishing for Acrylic

In this step, we use a diamond-tipped tool to polish the edges of cut acrylic, giving them a crystal-clear, glass-like finish. It’s a precise process that removes any roughness left from cutting and adds a high-end, professional look to the final product. Perfect for displays, furniture, and any piece where edge clarity matters.

CNC Engraving and Milling for Acrylic

Our CNC engraving and milling process is specially developed for clients who demand high precision and surface clarity. This advanced system offers high speed, high accuracy, efficient performance, and rapid tool changes, making it ideal for both detailed engraving and complex milling tasks. When performing 3D machining, it achieves excellent surface finishes — perfect for creating custom logos, recessed designs, and functional parts on thick acrylic materials.

Surface Grinding for Acrylic

For acrylic pieces with curved or irregular shapes, surface grinding is used to smooth and level the surface. This process removes imperfections and ensures a clean, uniform finish — especially where standard polishing tools can’t reach. It’s an essential step for achieving high-quality results on custom-shaped acrylic products.

Installing Brass Threaded Inserts in Acrylic

We install brass heat-set threaded inserts into acrylic sheets — a key step in making KD (knock-down) acrylic units easy to assemble and disassemble. Using controlled heat, the insert is embedded securely into the acrylic without cracking or damage, providing a strong, reliable thread for screws and fasteners. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference in the durability and functionality of custom acrylic products. This goes the same process for drilling.

Hot Bending for Acrylic

First, we CNC slot and peel the bending area, then align the panel precisely on our temperature-controlled hot bending machine with water-cooled bending bars to prevent bubbles. After heating for a few minutes (depending on thickness), our engineer carefully transfers the softened acrylic into a custom mold, secures it with jigs, and uses a cooling fan to speed up the setting process. Once cooled, we apply protective film to avoid scratches during handling.

Wet Polishing for Acrylic

Wet polishing is an eco-friendly process that uses water to cool and clean the acrylic surface while polishing. It reduces dust, protects the material from overheating, and ensures a smooth, clear finish. This method is not only effective but also clean, safe, and environmentally friendly — ideal for high-quality, professional acrylic products.

Gluing Process for Acrylic

Our skilled workers begin by securing the acrylic panels using jigs and clips to ensure perfect alignment. Then, we apply a high-quality acrylic adhesive to bond the pieces smoothly and precisely, ensuring a bubble-free bond. This careful gluing process not only gives the case a crystal-clear finish, but also ensures it’s durable and strong.

Flame polishing for Acrylic Edges

Flame polishing is a finishing process that uses a controlled flame to smooth and clear acrylic edges. As the flame passes over the surface, it melts a thin layer of the acrylic, creating a glossy, glass-like finish. It’s a quick and effective way to enhance the look of cut edges — perfect for displays, signage, and any piece where clarity and shine matter.

Cleaning - Dust Blowing Before Packaging

Before packaging, we use a handheld dust gun to carefully blow off any fine particles or debris from the finished acrylic products. This step ensures the surface stays clean, clear, and scratch-free, so every piece arrives to our customers looking its best. It’s a simple but important part of maintaining high product quality.
